I do have several locations that are my "go-to" spots, however, you can choose whatever setting feels right to you - from urban to natural, to anywhere in-between. If there is a place that is meaningful to you, tell me!  Please note that some places require fees or permits for professional photography.

I usually hold my sessions on the weekends and evenings, during the week. I will work with both of our schedules to select the best date and time for your session. I am fairly flexible with my schedule, however, please try to schedule sessions a few weeks before you'd like to do them so I can ensure availability.

In the event of rain during a scheduled outdoor session we will reschedule for a different date. There is also the option to still go through with the shoot and do our session IN the rain - if it’s not pouring or storming out, of course!

Don't worry! I know that people get sick and things come up! I appreciate 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule and we will work together to find another time for you.

My goal is to capture the genuine moments between you and your loved ones while making sure you are as comfortable as possible, with little interference. I will help guide you with soft posing, positioning and feedback but aim to make your session as authentic as possible, with genuine love and laughter. I have a soft spot for Candid photos and think that they sometimes make for the best photos. I don‘t expect your kids (or you!) to be perfect, I just want everyone to enjoy themselves and make some lasting memories together. 

I take many, many pictures! Throughout our session I will show you some sneak peeks so you can see what you look like in case there is anything that you would like to adjust. When I begin to prepare your gallery I will narrow them down to the very best ones. Depending on how long your session is, the number of photos can vary.

I do light retouching and is included in all packages. In addition to my custom hand-edits, I remove blemishes, and do other types of retouching. However, please don't request to make me change your body or details like that. You are beautiful the way you are and there is no need for that! :-)
